Our Nursery Tour
It’s taken quite some time to pull this room together and we’re thrilled with the final result. I wanted the nursery to be a room that made you feel instantly relaxed. A room that both of us would enjoying being in, spending mornings feeding our baby and sipping coffee in that comfortable chair.
Unfortunately I completely forgot to take a before photo (baby brain) but it was really just the flooring and light fixture that we updated. Once we had the carpet installed it was time to finally start pulling out all of the items we had been storing and bring the vision to life!
If you know me I’m not into a lot of colour, which is something I know I’m going to struggle with when it comes to children’s items. I tried to keep most items a neutral tone. However once everything was in place I kept feeling like something was missing. My husband is not a big fan of pink so I promised him there wouldn’t be too much. I envisioned the velvet curtains taking center stage and therefore not needing much more colour. In the end it turned out we were both unhappy with the lack of colour. So what did we do? Big beautiful wall decals to the rescue! These were exactly what the room needed, they are outstanding quality and very easy to install.
Everything in this room was sourced from many different places. There were a few items that I had to do some hunting around for, so don’t worry I will link them all below!
This room really was a labour of love. We are thrilled with the final product and can’t wait to welcome our baby girl!
